In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Lebanon showed varying trends in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting insights into the performance of these apps.

Sweat Wallet saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 18.6K at the end of September to around 1.2K by the end of November. However, there was a slight increase in the last few weeks of December, ending the quarter with approximately 1.8K downloads. Weekly active users for this app showed fluctuations, starting at 115.2K and experiencing a dip mid-quarter before rising to 104.6K by mid-December.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads from 3.6K in early October to just under 1K by early December, with a minor uptick to 1.3K at the end of December. The active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 10K mark but ending the quarter slightly lower at approximately 7.9K.

KuCoin: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto also saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 3.9K at the end of September and dropping to just over 100 by the end of December. Active users showed a gradual decrease from 2.9K at the start of the quarter to 2.2K by the end.

Hippo: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet had a steep decline in downloads, from 1.8K at the end of September to almost none by the end of the quarter. Data on active users for this app was not available.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto started the quarter with 859 downloads and saw a significant drop to just 40 by early December, with a slight recovery to 81 downloads by the end of December. Active users decreased from 1.3K at the end of September to about 772 by the end of December.
